“A good time, even for those who are allergic to shellfish! ”
— Eli Gordon
Shelder the Electric Clamfish
Shelder the Electric Clamfish is a multi-instrumentalist and storyteller residing on the traditional, unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the Hul’qumi’num and SENCOTEN speaking peoples. She performs her eclectic-art-folk compositions, drawing inspiration from her travels as a musician and from historical Canadian legends and folk tales. After residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Shelder began incorporating traditional East-coast music into her own compositions, blending familiar sounds with a new deep-sea folk-punk energy.

Album Reviews
Forget every folk cliche and overplayed chord progression you’ve ever been distracted by – Shelder the Electric Clamfish has just given the genre a thorough shake down and uplift (yet again) with her relentless imagination and untamed musical curiosity.
